Hollins Cottage

Hollins Cottage is ours. It's on our farm in Far Arnside, just outside Silverdale. It's detached, so you've got the place to yourselves. The garden is walled, which is good if you've got kids or a dog.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the doubles has its own shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything's in good order and it's well looked after.

The downstairs is all open plan. Kitchen, living area, dining table. The French doors go out to the garden. The view from there is fields. It's a working farm, so you'll see and hear the animals. There are cows and sheep. You'll get the smell of the farm sometimes too. It's just part of being here.

You can walk straight from the door. The path goes up to Arnside Knott or down to the shore. Morecambe Bay is right there. If you want a swim, you get free use of the pool at Silverdale Holiday Park. It's just across from the farm. They've got an indoor pool, a sauna, and a kids' play area.

The village of Arnside is about two miles away. It's got a train station, shops, and a few pubs. Grange-over-Sands is a ten minute drive. Kendal is about twenty minutes. The Lake District is on your doorstep, but it's a bit quieter over here.

In terms of what's here: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
