Swan House
Swan House is on Tewitfield Marina, near Carnforth. It's a modern three-bedroom house. Sleeps six, has two bathrooms.
The main thing is the view. The back of the house looks right onto the marina. You get that from the living area and from the balconies. There are two balconies, one off the living room and another upstairs. They're good spots.
It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished. The stairs are fine, normal stairs. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's parking and an electric car charger.
The marina is quiet. You can walk along the towpath. Greenlands Farm is just across the main road. They've got a farm shop, a cafe, and a play barn for kids.
Carnforth is the nearest town, about ten minutes by car or a decent walk along the canal. It has supermarkets, a few pubs, takeaways. The Longlands Hotel is next to the marina and does food.
Morecambe Bay is about a 15-minute drive. It's good for coastal walks and birdwatching. The Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is very close too, maybe ten minutes. Good for walking.
