The stairs are steep, that's the main thing to know. They're proper cottage stairs.
You come in at the front into the living room. It's open plan. There's a couple of armchairs by an electric stove, and a sofa at the other end with a TV. French doors go straight out to the garden from there. The kitchen is at the back. It's got what you need and a table for four, looking out the back.
Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed, the other has twins. The bathroom has a bit of storage. The garden is enclosed. There's a pergola with some flowers on it. It's private.
The village is quiet. There's a local pub. For shops, you'd drive to Carnforth, which is a few miles. It's got supermarkets and things.
You're well placed here. The coast at Morecambe Bay is about 15 minutes away. Lancaster's about 20 minutes. You can be in the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales in half an hour. There's local walks at Warton Crag or Thwaite Brow Woods.
It's got a dishwasher, wifi, TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
