Kiln Cottage
Kiln Cottage is on the canal in Bolton le Sands. It's a semi-detached cottage, one of a pair, backing right onto the towpath. You get a small lawned area and some steps down to the water.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The kitchen is compact, on the first floor. There's also a toilet on that level.
The stairs are steep. They're typical cottage stairs. The twin bedroom is on the first floor too, and has a door straight out to the towpath. The double bedroom and bathroom are on the top floor.
There's parking for two cars on site.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk along the towpath. They do food. There's also a Chinese and an Indian restaurant in the village, and a local shop on the bypass road.
You're well placed for getting about. Morecambe beach and promenade is about twenty minutes drive. Lancaster, with the castle and museums, is about the same. The Lake District National Park is roughly half an hour north, easy for a day trip.
Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
