Blue Sands
Blue Sands is in Morecambe, on the seafront. It's on the second floor, so there's a flight of internal shared stairs to get up to it.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which is accurate. It's clean, modern and comfortable.
The main thing about it is the view. The living room and the front bedroom look straight out over Morecambe Bay. You get a full panorama from the bay window, right across to the Lake District fells in the distance. The sunsets from there are very good.
Inside, it's straightforward. There's a living and dining area, a decently equipped kitchen, and a shower room. The double bedroom is at the back and is a good size.
Morecambe itself is a classic seaside town. There's a long promenade for walks, a sandy beach, and the usual shops and takeaways. The Midland Hotel is down at the south end if you want to see the art deco architecture.
You're well placed for day trips. Lancaster is about ten minutes drive. The castle is worth a visit. For walks, the Lake District National Park and the Forest of Bowland are both within half an hour.
It has a washing machine, a TV, wifi, and all bedding and towels are included. The electricity is covered in the price. Sorry, no pets.
