Seagull Cottage is in Heysham village. It's on the coast, about a mile from the beach.
It's a small end-terrace cottage. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with double beds. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
You get the back garden to yourselves. It's enclosed, with a patio area and some grass. There's a shed you can use for bikes or walking gear.
Inside, there's a living room with a wood burner. We leave you a bit of fuel to get you started. The kitchen has a dishwasher. Wifi is included. Bedding and towels are provided.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's no extra charge for them.
The village has a couple of shops and pubs. You can walk down to the harbour and the ruins of St Patrick's Chapel. For a longer beach, it's about a ten minute drive to Morecambe. The promenade there is good for a walk.
Lancaster is close. The castle is worth a visit. Williamson Park is up there too, with good views from the Ashton Memorial.
The Forest of Bowland is about half an hour's drive if you want proper hills and walks. The Lake District is less than an hour if you fancy going further.
