This is Keer Cottage. It's in Carnforth, Lancashire. The address is Marsh House Holiday Park, right on the edge of Morecambe Bay.
It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level except the main bedroom. Sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each has its own bathroom, which is handy. The rating is 5 Star. It's modern and well kept.
There's a living room with a wood burner, a separate snug with a TV, and a kitchen diner. Outside, there's a patio with a picnic bench. The view from there is out over the bay. You get private parking.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair. WiFi and Smart TVs are all there.
Being on the holiday park, you get access to the leisure facilities at their Silverdale site, which is a short drive away. That's an indoor heated pool with a spa, sauna and steam room. There's a small charge for that, about a fiver per person per day.
The location is the main thing. You walk out the door and you're straight onto the coastal path for walking. Morecambe itself is a short drive along the coast for the promenade and the town.
You're close to a few good spots. The RSPB Leighton Moss nature reserve is nearby for birdwatching. Arnside Knott gives you a great view over the bay. Carnforth Station, from the film Brief Encounter, is in the town if that's of interest.
The Lake District is within a 30 minute drive. You can be in Windermere or Coniston without too much trouble. For a wider area guide, Visit Lake District and the Arnside & Silverdale AONB sites are useful.
