Marina Haven

Marina Haven is in Tewitfield, up in Lancashire. It's a first-floor apartment overlooking the marina.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's done up nicely. The main thing is the balcony. It's glass-fronted, so you get a clear view of the water. You can sit out there with a coffee and watch the boats. Inside it's all open-plan, which feels quite spacious. The kitchen's modern and has a dishwasher.

The bedroom has a king-size bed. The bathroom is a shower room, no bath.

There's parking right outside. It also has an electric vehicle charger.

The Longlands Hotel is next to the marina and does food. There's a local pub as well. For a shop, you'll need to go into Carnforth, which is a short drive or a walk along the canal towpath. Greenlands Farm Village is just across the main road. They've got a farm shop, a cafe, and some craft shops.

You're on the Lancaster Canal here, so it's good for walking or cycling straight from the door. Morecambe Bay is about twenty minutes by car for the coast. The Arnside and Silverdale area is very close for walking. The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are both within a half hour drive if you fancy a day out.
