Cove Lodge

Cove Lodge is in Silverdale. It's a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps four. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable.

Downstairs there's a living room with a wood burner and leather sofas, and a separate kitchen with a dining area. That's got a second wood burner. Upstairs there's one double bedroom with a TV, and a twin room. There's one bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.

The garden is enclosed with a patio and some furniture. You can bring up to two dogs.

Silverdale is on the edge of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coast and a lot of woodland walks are right on the doorstep. The RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss is very close if you like birdwatching.

Arnside village is a couple of miles away. It's got a few shops, cafes, and a pub. The promenade there has good views over Morecambe Bay. Arnside Knott is a short walk from there and the views from the top are worth the climb.

As part of your stay, you get access to the leisure club at Silverdale Holiday Park. That includes an indoor heated pool, a spa pool, a sauna, and a steam room. It's a few minutes' drive from the cottage.

Within about half an hour you can drive to places like Carnforth, where there's the Steamtown railway museum, or head into the southern Lake District. Grange-over-Sands is also close.

The cottage has parking. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them.

For more information on the area, the RSPB Leighton Moss site is useful, and the Visit Lake District site covers things a bit further north.
