Pier Cottage
Pier Cottage is in Arnside. It's about a five minute walk to the front and the village shops.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an ensuite. It's got a 5 star rating, so it's well put together and everything works. There's a downstairs toilet and a small room with a desk if you need to work.
The kitchen is open plan with the living area. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, there's parking for two cars.
You can bring two dogs. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
Arnside is a quiet village on Morecambe Bay. The pier is good for a stroll. There are a few pubs and cafes. For a proper walk, Arnside Knott is right there. The views from the top are very good. The RSPB at Leighton Moss is about ten minutes by car if you like birdwatching.
You also get free use of the leisure club at Silverdale Holiday Park. That's a five minute drive. It has an indoor pool, a spa pool, and a sauna.
If you want to go further, the Lake District is about half an hour's drive. Windermere and Ambleside are in that direction. The other way, Kirkby Lonsdale is about twenty minutes. It's a nice market town with some old bridges.
