Hillberry Cottage

Hillberry Cottage is a detached house in Yealand Redmayne. It's on a quiet lane with fields behind it. You get the whole place and garden to yourselves. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done to a high standard.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One double, one twin. One bathroom with a shower. The living room has a wood burner, which is lovely on a cold night. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's private parking for two cars.

The garden has a patio with a table and chairs, and a lawn. The view from there is over the countryside. You can bring up to two dogs.

There's a good pub in the village that's been recently done up. They do food.

For things to do, you're in a good spot. You can walk straight out into the fields. Leighton Moss RSPB reserve is a short drive away if you like birdwatching. The coast at Arnside and Silverdale is about ten minutes by car. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can walk along the shore at Arnside Knott or Jenny Brown's Point. The promenade at Arnside has some nice cafes.

If you want a swim or a sauna, you get free access to the pool and spa at Holgates holiday park in Silverdale. It's about three miles away.

Leighton Hall is nearby if you fancy a historic house visit. The Lake District is about a 40 minute drive if you want to go that far.
