The Dairy At Crich Lane Farm
The Dairy At Crich Lane Farm is on our farm in Wessington. It was the old milking barn, converted last year. Everything's on the ground floor.
It's a 4 Star place, sleeps two. One bedroom and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got underfloor heating, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside.
Out the back is a small, enclosed garden with a table and chairs. It looks out over the fields. We keep sheep, some rare breed goats, cows, and chickens here on the farm, so you'll see them about. If you want to fish, there's a pond just up the lane. Please use barbless hooks and no keep nets.
The stairs in the main farmhouse are steep, but you won't need them. The Dairy is all on one level.
There's a pub in the village, about a ten-minute walk. Alfreton is a short drive for shops. For a good day out, the National Trust's Hardwick Hall is about 25 minutes away. So is the Crich Tramway Museum. You can walk up to Black Rocks from there for the view.
You're well placed for the Peak District. Peak District National Park has all the walking routes. The Pennine Bridleway is on the doorstep if you cycle.
Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
