The Powys Lodge
The Powys Lodge is on a lodge park in Gilfachreda, Ceredigion. It's detached and sits in a wooded bit of the park, next to a small stream.
It's rated 5 Star, which means it's well finished and comfortable. There are two bedrooms, both with their own TVs and en-suite bathrooms. It sleeps four. The main living area is open plan, with patio doors leading out to a deck.
The deck has seating and looks over the stream and trees. There's an enclosed garden area too. You can bring up to two dogs.
New Quay is the main seaside town nearby, about a five minute drive. It's got a harbour, cafes, restaurants, and a good sandy beach. They run boat trips from there to see dolphins and seals. For a bigger beach, Penbryn is about a twenty minute drive.
Aberaeron is north up the coast, maybe 25 minutes by car. It's a nice Georgian harbour town with coloured houses and places to eat.
This whole bit of the Ceredigion coast is good for walking. There's a local pub within walking distance. The park itself has a kids' play area.
Facilities: there's parking right by the lodge, WiFi, a Smart TV in the living area, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are provided. There's a BBQ on the deck.
