Ty Coch Cottage

Ty Coch Cottage is part of our farmhouse. It's on our 200-acre working farm in Dihewyd. You've got your own front door.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. There are beams and stone walls. The main living space looks out onto the farmyard. You have a seating area right outside the front door and a garden across the yard.

The stairs in the cottage are steep and narrow. Just so you know.

You're welcome to walk on the farm. Ask us and we'll tell you the best routes, depending on where the animals are.

The nearest shop is about three and a half miles away. The nearest pub is three miles. You'll need to drive.

New Quay is about a ten minute drive. It's a proper little harbour town built into the hill. You can often see dolphins from the wall. Boat trips go out from there too. Aberaeron is a bit further, maybe fifteen minutes. It's a Georgian town with coloured houses around the harbour. They do good seafood and the famous honey ice cream.

The coast path is easily reached. Most of the beaches along this stretch allow dogs all year. Aberystwyth is about half an hour away for a bigger town with a promenade. Inland, you're close to the Cambrian Mountains for walking.

As for the place itself, it's got a woodburning stove, parking, wifi, a washing machine, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
