Cartws
This is Cartws, over at the Bwlch Y Person barns near Ystrad Aeron. We've turned one of the old Welsh long barns into a cottage. It's part of a group of four, arranged in a right angle shape around a car park. You're basically looking out over fields from your terrace.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kitted out. There's a ground floor wet room which is handy, and it's generally accessible.
You get your own enclosed patio with a hot tub. There's a shared bit of grass beyond the car park with a kids' football goal and a picnic bench. And there's a barn owl that lives here. You'll probably see it at dusk.
The place is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in Ystrad Aeron. Aberaeron harbour is about six miles. It's a nice walk along the level path from Llanerchaeron, which is four miles from here anyway and worth a visit.
New Quay is a bit further along the coast. Good for dolphin spotting, they're out there most days. The whole Ceredigion coastline is right there for exploring.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
