Cartws Blaenparc Coach House

This is the Coach House on our farm. It's just for two people. It used to be stables so the space is all on one level. You don't have steps to worry about.

It's a working farm. We keep sheep. So if you look out of the big windows in the morning, you'll see fields and the Cambrian Mountains. You might hear sheep, or our dogs. It's quiet, but it's a real farm.

The place has been done up so it's comfortable and warm. There's underfloor heating. A proper shower. A washing machine. The bed is a king size. We leave bedding and towels for you.

You can bring one dog. There's an enclosed patio area outside where you can sit, and a BBQ. The parking is right outside the door.

You're about half an hour's drive from the coast. New Quay is a nice little harbour town. Aberaeron is lovely for a walk and some food. You can often see dolphins from the shore there. Boat trips go out from New Quay if you want a closer look.

Aberystwyth is about 40 minutes north. It's a bigger town with a pier, a university, and the cliff railway you can take up Constitution Hill. Inland, you've got places like the Dolaucothi Gold Mines or the red kite feeding at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian. The Visit Wales page for Cardigan Bay has good maps and ideas.

If you're walking, you're right on the edge of the mountains. You can drive to the coast path. It's good for cycling too if you don't mind hills.

We've also got a barn that sleeps four, next door. You can book both together if there’s a bigger group.
