Parlwr is in Cwmsychbant, in Carmarthenshire. It's part of our smallholding. We've got a field with alpacas, donkeys, and chickens. It's up a private lane.
The cottage sleeps two, in one bedroom. The bathroom is en-suite to that bedroom. It's a 4 Star place. It's converted from an old cow shed, one of three cottages here now.
Your part of the garden faces south and is enclosed. There's a BBQ. You can see the fields from there.
The living area is open plan. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. We provide the wood.
The hamlet is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about five miles away in Llanybydder. The pub does food.
For the coast, New Quay is about a 25 minute drive. The harbour there does boat trips, and you might see dolphins. The beach is good. Aberaeron is a bit further north, and is worth a visit for the coloured houses around the harbour.
Newcastle Emlyn is a market town about twelve miles away. It's got places to eat and is on the River Teifi. If you go to Cenarth Falls, you can sometimes see salmon jumping.
There are walks straight from the door. For more organised walks, the Wales Coast Path isn't far, and the Brecon Beacons National Park is within an hour's drive.
Facilities wise: it's all on one floor. There's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a shared games room. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
This cottage can be booked with the one next door if you're a group of four.
