Y Beudy
Y Beudy is near Llanwenog in Carmarthenshire. It's a converted barn, so it's one big thing on its own. You're up on the side of the Teifi valley, so the main thing is the view. You look straight out over the valley from the main living area and the terrace.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is useful with that many people. The rating is 5 Star, which here means it's been done to a high standard. It's open plan inside, with wood floors and a wood burner. The kitchen's part of that space.
Outside, there's a big wraparound terrace with the view. There's a gas BBQ, a pizza oven, and a fire pit. The garden is enclosed. There's parking right there, and an electric vehicle charger.
It's a rural spot. There are farms nearby with animals, so if you bring dogs, they need to be on a lead when you're out. You can bring up to four dogs.
For things to do, Lampeter and Llandysul are the nearest towns, about ten minutes by car. You've got shops and cafes there. The coast at New Quay or Aberaeron is about a twenty minute drive. Aberystwyth is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
If you're outdoorsy, the Llandysul Paddlers centre is close for canoeing. For walking, you're near the Cambrian Mountains. For a day out, the Dolaucothi Gold Mines are about half an hour away.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
