Red Kite Cottage
Red Kite Cottage is in Maesymeillion, which is a quiet hamlet a few miles inland from Cardigan Bay. It's a detached, single-storey cottage that sleeps two. You get the whole place and the patio garden to yourselves.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept. There's one bedroom with a kingsize bed upstairs, and a shower room. Downstairs is the living room, with a wood burner, and a small kitchen. The patio is enclosed, so it's private. You get parking right outside.
The local pub is about a mile away. It serves food. The nearest shop is a mile and a half. For a big supermarket, you'd drive to Lampeter or Newcastle Emlyn.
The coast is about nine or ten miles away. Good beaches nearby are Tresaith, Penbryn, and Llangrannog. New Quay is a bit further along and is the place for boat trips to see dolphins and seals. You can walk sections of the Wales Coast Path from lots of spots along there.
If you like walking or driving, the Cambrian Mountains aren't far. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about a 40-minute drive. Aberaeron is a nice little harbour town to wander around, about 25 minutes by car.
Facilities are what you'd expect. There's a wood burner, WiFi, TV, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. No pets, sorry.
