Red Kite Cottage is in Maesymeillion, a small hamlet. It's a detached stone cottage, converted from an outbuilding. It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, bathroom and living space downstairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well finished, not just basic. The wood burner works, or there's an electric fire if you'd rather. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit steep and narrow.
There's a private, enclosed patio area off the living room through French doors. It's a suntrap in the afternoon. Good for sitting out.
The local pub is about a mile away, it does food. A shop is a mile and a half. The coast, for good beaches and dolphin watching boats, is about a 20-minute drive. New Quay is probably the closest for that, or you've got Aberaeron. Both are nice harbour towns.
If you like walking, the Ceredigion Coastal Path is on your doorstep. For a change of scene, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is about 40 minutes' drive. Newcastle Emlyn and Lampeter are your nearest market towns.
The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. No pets, I'm afraid.
