This is Let's Glamp Retro Queen at Capel Cynon. It's one of three lodges on our bit of land. You're up in the fields here, looking out at the hills.
It says it sleeps four, but really it's one bedroom with a double bed, and then a sofa bed in the main room. So it's best for a couple, maybe with two kids. Everything's open plan. It's got a kitchen corner, a bathroom with a shower, and a Smart TV. It's clean and warm. The rating is because it's well-equipped, not because it's posh.
Outside, there's a deck with a wood-fired hot tub. There's also a big outdoor cooker called an Aquaforno. You can do pizzas or stews in it. There's a picnic bench too. We get a lot of birds here like red kites. We leave out some binoculars.
The coast is about ten minutes drive. New Quay is close and that's where you can go out on boat trips to look for dolphins. The Visit Wales site has good info on wildlife watching. For a good walk, the Ceredigion Coastal Path is right there.
Inland, you've got the Teifi Valley and the Cambrian Mountains. National Trust Wales has places like Llanerchaeron nearby. Aberaeron is a nice little harbour town for food. Cardigan and Aberystwyth are within half an hour if you need more shops.
Facilities are all listed: WiFi, parking, bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. The other two lodges are the same, so you can book them together if you're coming with another family.
