Buttermilk Cottage is in Llwyndafydd. It's a little hamlet just inland from Cardigan Bay, so you're tucked away but only a couple of miles from the coast.
It's one of nine cottages on the same estate. They've all been done up from old farm buildings. You share the main grounds, which are extensive. There's a heated outdoor pool open in the summer, a tennis court, and forest trails you can walk. They've got animals around the place too, like donkeys, goats, and chickens.
The cottage itself sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. The garden is a paved patio area with a barbecue. It's enclosed, but it's shared with the cottage next door, Dairy Cottage.
You're well placed for the beaches around here. New Quay and Llangrannog are a short drive away, maybe ten or fifteen minutes. They're proper little seaside towns with pubs, shops, and boat trips that go out to look for dolphins. The coast path is excellent for walking.
If you want to go further, you can get to the National Trust bits of the coast, or head inland. The Preseli Hills are to the south and the Cambrian Mountains are east. Snowdonia National Park is north, about an hour and a half's drive.
In terms of what's here, the list covers it. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. There's parking right outside. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but I'd recommend checking the specifics if that's important, as it's still a cottage.
You can book it with the other cottages if you're coming as a bigger group.
