Buttermilk Cottage

Buttermilk Cottage is in Llwyndafydd in Carmarthenshire. It's part of a little hamlet of nine stone cottages that have been done up together. You're on the edge of a big chunk of shared grounds.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and the furnishings are nice. The bathroom is small. There's one step down into the living room.

The big thing here is the shared facilities. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. The grounds are extensive with woodland trails. You'll see donkeys, goats, sheep, and chickens wandering about. There are picnic benches too. Your garden is paved, enclosed, and shared with the cottage next door.

It's about two miles to the nearest beach. The coastline around here is really good. Crystal clear water in some of the coves. New Quay and Llangrannog are a short drive away. Both have pubs, cafes, and shops. They do boat trips from New Quay to see dolphins.

Being in South Wales, you're well placed for day trips. The Preseli Hills and Cambrian Mountains are to the east and south. Snowdonia is north, about an hour and a half by car. The whole area is good for walking, cycling, and that sort of thing.

Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, Wi-Fi. Bedding is included. There's on-site parking. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. No pets allowed.
