Ty Cwch Cabin 2

This is Ty Cwch, which means 'Boat House'. It's on the coast in Cwmtydu. It's made from shipping containers. It sounds strange but it works.

It's for four people. There's one main sleeping cabin with a double bed and bunk beds in it. Then there are two separate bathroom cabins upstairs. So you get two toilets and showers between you. It’s shared with guests from the other two cabins if they’re booked. There’s also an outdoor shower.

The main living space is in the middle, under a sort of sail roof. That's where the kitchen is, and sofas. It's a good place to sit if the weather's bad. There's WiFi.

The beach is about two minutes’ walk away. It's pebbly. There's a cafe there in the summer. The coast path runs right past.

It's not a fussy place. It's more for being outdoors. The owners have connections with local activity companies if you want to book things like coasteering or kayaking. Some kit is there for you to use.

The parking is right there. It is wheelchair accessible to the main living area.

You can bring up to two dogs.

New Quay is about a ten minute drive along the coast. Aberaeron is maybe twenty minutes south. For a longer day out, the National Trust's Dinefwr estate is about a 40 minute drive inland.
