Mor O Gariad is a detached house about a mile and a half from New Quay itself. It's up on the hill, so you get the views without the town noise. The walk down to the harbour takes about 25 minutes. It's downhill on the way there.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms. One bathroom is on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing here are the views from the back of the house. You can see right across the bay from the lounge and the conservatory. There's a decent sized garden too. It has a heated swimming pool and a hot tub. There's also a games room inside with a pool table.
New Quay has a good beach and a working harbour. You can get boat trips from there to see dolphins and seals. The town has a few pubs, cafes, and places to eat. It gets busy in summer.
Aberaeron is about a 20-minute drive south. It's a nice little harbour town with colourful houses. Aberystwyth is about half an hour north. It's bigger, with a university, a long promenade, and a ruined castle.
The Ceredigion coast path runs right past New Quay if you're into walking. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline nearby. For information on the area, Visit Ceredigion is useful.
Facilities: there's parking for a few cars. The garden is enclosed. It has a BBQ. Inside, there's a wood burner, WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
