Ponycob Cottage is in Blaencelyn, Carmarthenshire. It's a group of old farm buildings on a small holding. The owners live next door. Ours is one of four cottages there, semi-detached with the one next door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's a nice conversion, stone walls and beams. There's a wood burner.
Outside, there's a private patio with a hot tub. At the front there's a shared open seating area looking over a pond with ducks. The owners have a fenced field you can use to let a dog run about.
You're about two and a half miles from the coast. The nearest shop is three quarters of a mile. A pub and restaurant are about two miles away.
The area is quiet. You'll hear farm sounds. It's good for walking. The Visit Wales walking page has ideas. The National Trust Wales site lists places like Dinefwr Park, which is about a 25 minute drive. Tenby and the Pembrokeshire Coast are within half an hour's drive.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a highchair if you need it.
