Dol Llan is in Llangrannog. It's an old stone cottage, about three hundred years old. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
It's got a three star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not modernised in a fancy way. The walls are thick and the doors are low. You'll probably duck a couple of times.
The beach is a few minutes walk down the path. It's got sand and rock pools. The village shop and two pubs are about the same distance. They're good, straightforward places.
There's a wood burning stove for colder evenings. The garden is out the back, with a patio and a barbecue. You get one parking space next to the cottage.
You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included, and there's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
From the cottage you can walk straight onto the Wales Coast Path. You can hire kayaks from the beach. There's a dry ski slope up the hill, and a nine-hole golf course.
A new sauna and steam room has opened on the seafront. There are also two electric car chargers in the main village car park, a short walk away.
New Quay is about a ten minute drive. They run boat trips from the harbour there to see dolphins. Aberaeron is fifteen minutes south. It's a nice little town with a harbour and coloured houses. The National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate is about twenty minutes away.
