The Coach House is on the Glaneirw Estate, near Tan y groes. The main thing is it's a big, old, solid place. It sleeps nine, in five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms.
It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been renovated but they kept a lot of the original stuff like the floor tiles and the beams. The ceilings are high. It feels quite grand in a simple way.
There's a separate lounge that's good if kids want to watch a film. The garden is quiet. You get birds and woodpeckers. There's a covered outdoor area with a table and a ping-pong table.
It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of a wall. The driveway is lined with beech trees.
There's a small shop about a ten minute walk away. The seaside at Tresaith is a couple of miles down the road. The Ceredigion Coastal Path is about three miles away for walking.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. It's listed as wheelchair accessible at the entrance. No pets.
For planning days out, the National Trust Wales and Visit Wales sites are useful.
