Ty Cornel is in Aberporth. It's a detached house, one of the oldest in the village. It's from about 1750. We kept the original beams and things when we did it up.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
The house is right in the village, so you're about 75 yards from the pub and 100 yards from the beach. The beach is sandy, good for families. The shop is the same sort of distance.
There's a small enclosed patio garden out the back. You can sit out there. Parking is on-site for one car.
Inside, it's all on one level except for one bedroom which is up a flight of stairs. Those stairs are a bit steep, just so you know.
For facilities: we've put in WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We also have a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
If you want to explore, you're in a good spot for it. Cardigan is about a 20 minute drive south. The castle there is worth a visit. You can drive north to New Quay in about half an hour to see the dolphins. The whole Ceredigion coast path is on your doorstep for walking.
