Ty Cornel is in Aberporth, in Ceredigion. It's a detached cottage, one of the oldest in the village. It's from around 1750, so the ceilings are low in places and the doors are a bit smaller than you're used to. The stairs are steep, too. It's got its original beams and stonework.
It sleeps four people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not a show home.
The beach is about a hundred yards away. It's a sandy beach, good for swimming. There's a village shop and a couple of places to eat just down the road. A pub is about seventy-five yards away.
You're right on the Ceredigion Coast Path for walking. For a day out, Cardigan is about a fifteen minute drive south. The castle there is worth a look. The Visit Wales site has good information for the area. The National Trust looks after a few spots along the coast like Llanerchaeron, which is about half an hour away.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on the drive. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide bedding, towels, a cot, and a highchair if you need them.
