Hafan Gwyn
Hafan Gwyn is in Felinwynt, Ceredigion. It's a detached cottage. We renovated it in 2021, so it's all pretty new and clean inside. That's what the 5 Star rating is about.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. The entrance is wheelchair accessible too.
The main room is open plan, kitchen, dining and living area together. It's got high ceilings so it feels quite light. French doors open out to the garden.
The garden is enclosed. There's a hot tub out there. You can see a bit of the ocean from the garden, between the fields.
The cottage is in the grounds of our house. We're next door. You'll have your own space, but we're around if you need anything.
You're about a mile from the coast. A short walk down the lane gets you to the play barn and cafe in the village. It's good if you've got kids with you.
Aberporth is five minutes drive. It's got a couple of beaches, some pubs and cafes. Mwnt Beach, which is run by the National Trust, is also very close. Cardigan is about fifteen minutes away for bigger shops.
If you want to explore, you're right in the middle of it. You can get down into Pembrokeshire, or up the coast towards Aberystwyth, all within an hour. Places like Folly Farm or the Pembrokeshire Coast Path aren't far.
For facilities: it's got parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair and stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a BBQ as well.
We've also got another cottage next door, Hafan View. You can book both together if you're a bigger group.
