Ty Capel Seion is a cottage in St Dogmaels, right on the edge of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. It was a chapel originally, so the rooms are quite tall. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin. There's one bathroom. The stairs are normal, not a spiral or anything, but they are a bit steep because it's an old building. Just mind your head on the beam at the top.
The sitting room and kitchen are open plan, with wooden beams. It's a good size. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
Out the back there's an enclosed garden with a patio. It's not huge, but it's private and gets the sun. There's parking for one car right by the cottage.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. We have a stairgate and a highchair if you need them.
The River Teifi is about a hundred yards behind the house. You can see it from the upstairs windows. Poppit Sands beach is less than two miles drive, maybe a 40-minute walk if you're keen. It's a big, clean beach and you can walk onto the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from there.
In the village, there's a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. The ruins of St Dogmaels Abbey are a five-minute walk away. They have a good café there. Cardigan town is a couple of miles away. They've got supermarkets, places to eat, and a castle. You can get boat trips from there to see dolphins sometimes.
For a day out, you've got the Preseli Hills inland, or the coast path either way. National Trust Cardigan Bay has information on the coastline. Newport and Fishguard are about twenty minutes up the coast. Tenby is just under an hour's drive.
