Riversmouth is in Gwbert, just outside Cardigan in West Wales. It's one of ten detached houses on the site, but you get your own garden and parking. The house itself is big, sleeps twelve.
It's spread over three floors. On the ground floor there are two twin bedrooms and a shower room, which is handy for anyone who doesn't want to tackle stairs. The main living area, a king room and the family bathroom are on the first floor. Up on the second floor there's a double with an ensuite, another king with an ensuite, and a twin room. That makes six bedrooms and five bathrooms in total.
There's a small garden and a private hot tub. Parking for three cars. The house has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and finished to a good standard.
The location is the main thing. It's about a hundred yards from the cliff top. The views over Cardigan Bay are very good. It's a quiet spot. You can walk along the coastal path right from the door. The local pub and a restaurant are about five minutes' walk away.
Cardigan town is a couple of miles away for shops. The nearest proper beach for sand is about seven miles. The Teifi Estuary is right there though, with sandbanks at low tide. It's good for birdwatching. The Cardigan Golf Club course is on the headland here too.
For a day out, you're on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. St Davids is about a 40 minute drive south. Further afield, the Aberystwyth direction is about an hour north.
Facilities include WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and bedding and towels are provided. There's an electric vehicle charger. We can take up to two dogs, but you need to tell us when you book. There is CCTV covering the outside areas of the property.
