Tawelwch is a bungalow in St Dogmaels. It's on one level, which is good if you don't want stairs. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.
The living room has a distant view over the Teifi Estuary. You can see water between the houses opposite. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. Speaking of which, we accept one well-behaved pet.
You're very close to things here. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starts a few minutes' walk away. The village pub, which does food, is about 500 yards. There's a shop three quarters of a mile away, and a bus stop just outside.
Poppit Sands beach is about a mile and a half down the road. It's a good, long beach for walks. Cardigan is just over the bridge. The castle there has been nicely restored and has a cafe. Cardigan Castle.
For a day out, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park website has walking information. The Preseli Hills are inland, about a 20 minute drive. You often see dolphins and seals from the coast around here.
Inside, it's all on the ground floor. There's a walk-in shower. Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking on site.
Within half an hour you can get to places like the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, or beaches around Newport. Aberaeron is about 40 minutes south for a colourful harbour and good chips.
