Tawelwch is in St Dogmaels, right on the edge of the village. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level. That's handy if you don't fancy stairs. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Bedding and towels are included.
You're a few minutes' walk from the pub, which does food. The shop is a bit further. The real point is the location. You're about a hundred yards from the Teifi Estuary and the start of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. You can see a bit of the water from the living room window.
Poppit Sands beach is a mile and a half down the road. It's a good, long beach for walks. Cardigan is just over the bridge. The castle there is worth a look – they've done a nice job with it. Cardigan Castle.
For a day out, the Preseli Hills are about twenty minutes' drive. Or you can go along the coast to places like Newport. There's plenty of walking. If you want activity stuff, you can find coasteering and kayaking locally. The area's known for dolphin sightings, especially from boats.
Facilities: it's got the usual. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. There's parking right there. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
