This cottage is called Llwynbedw, it's in St Dogmaels in West Wales. It's a detached bungalow, so it's all on one level and you're not sharing walls with anyone. It sleeps two people in the one bedroom.
It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's a good, comfortable standard. Everything works and it's well kept. The layout is open plan, so the living area, kitchen and dining space are all in one room. The shower room is separate.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside, a washing machine, and a small BBQ. Bedding and towels are included.
The location is the main thing. You're about 50 yards from the local pub, which does food. The village shop is a couple of minutes walk. You can walk to the ruins of St Dogmaels Abbey from here.
To get to the coast, you walk down through the village to the River Teifi estuary. From there, you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. If you turn right, you'll walk along the estuary to Poppit Sands beach. It's a proper sandy beach, good for dogs outside of the summer restrictions. It's about a mile and a half walk from the cottage, or you can drive down to the car park.
By car, you're about 15 minutes from Cardigan town, which has bigger supermarkets. The city of St Davids, with the cathedral, is about half an hour's drive. For a good day out, the boat trips from St Davids or Martin's Haven out to the islands like Skomer are excellent for seeing puffins and seals. Tenby is further, about an hour's drive.
