Sandbank

Sandbank is in Gwbert, which is just north of Cardigan in West Wales. It's a detached house, one of ten on the site. You're right up near the cliff top, about 100 yards from the edge.

It sleeps twelve people. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's over three floors. The kitchen and a utility room are on the ground floor. The main living area and three bedrooms are on the first floor. The rest of the bedrooms are up on the second floor.

It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. Everything is included, like bedding and towels.

You have your own garden and a hot tub. There's parking on site and an electric vehicle charger. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The outside areas have CCTV for security.

The location is quiet. It's a hamlet, really. There's a pub and restaurant about 500 yards away. The nearest shop is a few miles back in Cardigan.

The beach at Gwbert is shingle. For a big sandy beach, you'd drive to Poppit Sands, which is about ten minutes away. The views from the house and the cliff path are very good, right over Cardigan Bay. You can see Cardigan Island from the headland.

Cardigan town is a couple of miles away. It has the usual shops, a castle, and the river. The Teifi Estuary is good for birdwatching. For a proper day out, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park starts just the other side of the river. It's about a 30 minute drive to get to places like Newport or Fishguard.
