This is Green Acre, in St Dogmaels. It's a detached house right by the river Teifi estuary. You're about 100 yards from the water. The village is small, with a couple of pubs and a shop, all within easy walking distance.
The house sleeps ten. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a wet room on the ground floor, and the main entrance has step-free access, so it works for wheelchairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main living space is open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings, a football table, and views of the river from most rooms. The garden is large, lawned, with some fruit trees at the back and a raised terrace at the front. You can sit out there and look at the water.
You can walk from the door. Turn left for the coast path to Poppit Sands beach, which is about a mile and a quarter away. Turn right to go into the village past the abbey ruins, and from there over the bridge into Cardigan town. Cardigan has the castle, shops, and places to eat.
For bigger days out, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is right on the doorstep. The Preseli Hills are inland, about a 20 minute drive. You can get to places like Fishguard or Newport within half an hour. The coastal bus service, if you don't want to drive, is quite good along here.
Facilities are all there: parking, WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
