Pengelli Cottage is on our farm in Glanrhyd, Ceredigion. It's a working farm, so you'll see cattle and sheep around the place. You're welcome to come and look at the animals, and if the timing's right you might be able to help feed the lambs. We sometimes have fresh eggs you can collect.
The cottage sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The garden is yours to use, and it's enclosed, which is handy if you have a dog. We take pets, and there's a charge per dog.
You're attached to our house but you have your own door. You'll hear us coming and going sometimes. Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The location is quite rural. The nearest shop is about a mile away. There's a pub and a restaurant two miles from here. For a beach, you're looking at about a 20 minute drive. Newport Sands, Poppit and Mwnt are all good. Mwnt has a small National Trust car park.
There's a big ancient woodland right next to the farm that you can walk into. If you follow the paths through, you can get to Castell Henllys, which is an Iron Age fort site. They have a café there.
Cardigan town is about a 15 minute drive. The castle there is worth a visit. The Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran is a similar distance, good for a walk on the boardwalks to see birds.
Further afield, within about 45 minutes, you've got Tenby, Folly Farm, Heatherton and Oakwood theme park.
