Bronrhiw is on the main street in Newport, Pembrokeshire. It's an end-terrace cottage. We redid most of it in 2022, so it's in good shape. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own shower room.
The place has got slate floors, old beams, and stone walls. There's a wood burner in the front room. The kitchen is decent, with a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a separate dining room and a small games room upstairs with books and board games. The main bathroom is downstairs.
Being on the main street, you're right by things. There's a grocer, a butcher, pubs, and cafes all within a few minutes' walk. The town has two beaches. The North Beach is sandy and good for families. The Parrog has more rock pools and the boat club. The estuary is good for birdwatching. There's a links golf course a short drive away.
It's about a ten-minute drive to Fishguard. Lower Fishguard is the pretty harbour bit. St Davids is around twenty-five minutes. That's where the cathedral is. For beaches, Newport Sands is close. For surfing, Whitesands Bay is about half an hour.
You've got a small enclosed garden at the back. We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on the street outside the cottage.
