Yr Hen Efail
This is Yr Hen Efail. It's a one-bedroom bungalow for two people, near Fishguard in Pembrokeshire. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's in a little hamlet called Cilshafe. You're down a long private track, so it feels properly out of the way. There are a few other cottages nearby and our farmhouse. The track and the fields around it are good for walking a dog straight from the door.
Inside, it's one main room with a kitchen, sitting area, and a wood burner. The ceiling is beamed and there are stone walls. It's a comfortable space. The bedroom and bathroom are off that main room. Everything is on one level.
Outside, there's a private patio area with a table and chairs, then a shared lawn beyond that. It's quiet. You'll hear birds.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is about half a mile away. You can walk from there. Fishguard is a mile and a half. It's a working harbour town with shops, cafes, and a few pubs. There's a local pub within walking distance too, about 200 yards.
For a day out, St Davids is about 20 minutes by car. The whole coastline is there to explore. There's a golf course nearby, and you can arrange horse riding locally.
The place has parking, a TV, and bedding is included. We allow one well-behaved dog. You'll need to bring your own towels.
