The Cwtch

The Cwtch is a small detached lodge next to our house near Llanwnda, up in the hills. It sleeps two people, in a kingsize bed. It's all on one level.

The inside is open plan. So it's like one big room with the kitchen, the sitting area, and the bed all together. It’s cosy. There's one bathroom with a shower. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not fancy.

The main thing is the view. You're quite high up, so you get a really good view over the Gwaun Valley countryside from the patio. It's quiet. The garden area is enclosed, so it's fine for a dog.

You're about a mile, maybe twenty minutes' walk, from Goodwick. That's where the nearest shop and a couple of pubs are. Fishguard is right there too. The coast path is very close. You can walk from your doorstep straight down to the sea and past the Strumble Head lighthouse.

For beaches, you've got loads within a half hour drive. Newport Sands is good, so is Porthgain. St Davids is about twenty minutes away for the cathedral and boat trips. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site is useful for planning walks. So is the National Trust page for the area.

What's here: there's a washing machine, a TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ you can use. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
