Seren Saethu

Seren Saethu is a glamping pod on our small site near Fishguard. There are seven pitches in total, each with a private bit of garden. You're on six acres of land, about a mile from the coast, with views out over Fishguard Bay.

It sleeps four. One main bedroom with a double bed and a couple of bunk beds in the same space, so it's all in one room. One bathroom with a shower. The shower and kitchen are separate huts, just a few steps from the pod. It's a 4 Star place, which in our case means it's comfortable and well-equipped, but it's still glamping.

You have your own fire pit and a picnic bench. We've got hammocks and benches dotted around the main field if you want to sit and look at the view. At night, with little light pollution, you can see a lot of stars.

On site, Tregroes Pantry offers evening meals four nights a week and a Sunday roast in the summer season. It runs from Easter to the end of September. Sometimes there's live music on a Friday. You can walk down the lane into Fishguard itself in about twenty minutes. It's a proper working town with a small harbour, a few pubs, cafes, and shops.

For beaches and coast path walking, you're in a good spot. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right there. Strumble Head is a couple of miles west. It's a great bit of coastline for views and spotting seals. The Preseli Hills are about twenty minutes' drive inland if you fancy a change from the sea.

Included in the pitch are all your utilities, bedding, WiFi, and parking. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Useful links if you're planning: Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Castell Henllys Iron Age Village.
