Summerhill Cottage is in Mathry, a village on top of a hill. You can see fields one way and the sea the other. It’s a stone semi-detached house.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The living space is all on one level. One bedroom is downstairs off the living room. The other is up a flight of stairs. Those stairs are quite steep and narrow, typical for a cottage.
The place is clean and comfortable. The kitchen has what you’d need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There’s a wood burner for cooler evenings. Outside is a south-facing patio with a table. There’s a gas BBQ and a pizza oven. Instructions for the oven are in the cottage.
You’re up in the village. There’s a local pub a short walk away. The coast is about six miles down the hill. Good beaches like Whitesands and Abermawr are within a fifteen minute drive. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily accessible from there.
St Davids is about fifteen minutes away by car. You’ve got the cathedral there, and boat trips from St Davids Head. The city of St Davids website has useful information. Further along the coast, Solva harbour is a ten minute drive. You can get fishing trips from there.
Facilities: parking for one car at the cottage. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
