Tir Deri
Tir Deri is a detached house just outside Llanrhian, right on the St Davids Peninsula. It's got farmland on one side and the coast path a short walk away.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms, which is good for a big group or two families. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The downstairs is all on one level. There's a step at the front door, but the main rooms and one bedroom and bathroom are wheelchair accessible. The stairs to the first floor are a normal winding staircase.
The garden is a decent sized, enclosed paddock. It's fully fenced, so it's good for dogs or kids to run around in. You can park right next to the house.
In the village, which is about a ten minute walk, there's a well regarded pub that does food. For bigger shops, you'd drive into St Davids, which is about ten minutes by car.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is literally a few minutes' walk from the gate. Turn left for Aber Mawr, or right to head towards Porthgain. The whole peninsula is great for walking. You can drive to Whitesands Bay or Abercastle in under fifteen minutes.
For days out, St Davids Cathedral is the obvious one. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site has good walking information. For history, Carew Castle and St Davids Bishop's Palace run by Cadw are both within a thirty minute drive.
