Cwm Gain is a lodge near Porthgain in Pembrokeshire. It's detached, up on a slight slope looking over a valley. The style is modern, Scandinavian sort of thing.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, meaning it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one floor, which is good.
The main living space is open plan. There's a kitchen, dining area, and a sitting area with patio doors that go out onto a raised deck. Underfloor heating throughout.
The biggest draw is the location. You can walk down to Porthgain harbour in about five minutes. It's a proper old harbour, with a pub called The Sloop and a good fish restaurant, The Shed. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path starts basically from the door.
From there, it's a short walk along the path to Traeth Llyfn beach. A bit further on are other beaches like Abereiddy and Whitesands for surfing. The Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy is popular for jumping in.
St Davids is about a 15-minute drive away. It's a small city with the cathedral and the Bishop's Palace ruins. Lots of shops and places to eat there too. Boat trips to Ramsey Island leave from there.
In terms of facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if needed. Parking for a couple of cars on site. The decking area is enclosed.
