Temple Cottage

Temple Cottage is in Square and Compass, near St Davids in Pembrokeshire. It's a detached 17th century cottage. It sleeps two, with one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s got a 5 Star rating. You can bring up to two dogs. It also works for a baby, with a cot and highchair available.

The main thing is the view. You get a proper panoramic sea view from the bedroom, the kitchen, and the garden. It's been restored, so it has slate floors, underfloor heating, and oak doors. The ceilings are beamed and there's an original stone inglenook fireplace with a wood burner.

The bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's parking on site. The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs, and there's a BBQ.

You're on the main road between St Davids and Fishguard. It’s not a busy road, but you will hear the occasional car. The local pub, the Square and Compass, is about a five minute walk away. There's also a village shop and a petrol station just up the road.

You’re about five minutes’ drive from Porthgain. It has a good fish restaurant and a couple of galleries. Aberieddy and the Blue Lagoon are less than ten minutes away. That's a popular spot for coasteering. Traeth Llyfn beach is a walk from there.

St Davids is about ten minutes by car. It’s a small city with shops, cafes, and the cathedral. The beaches there, like Whitesands and Caerfai, are maybe fifteen minutes total. For walking, you’re right on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The whole coast is accessible.
