Preswylfa is an end-of-terrace cottage in Trefin. It's built from stone, like most places here. The hamlet is quiet, just a little cluster of houses right by the coast.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up but they kept the old beams and the slate floors. There's a wood burner in the dining area. The stairs are typical for a cottage, so they're a bit steep and narrow.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is literally a two-minute walk from the front door. You turn left or right and you're on it. The little cove at Aberfelin is a short walk down the path, good for rock pools. For a proper sandy beach, you'll need to drive. Whitesands Bay, near St Davids, is about ten minutes by car.
There's a pub about fifty yards away. It serves food. The nearest shop is in Mathry, about a mile and a half up the road.
You're a fifteen-minute drive from St Davids. It's a city, but a very small one. The cathedral is worth seeing. Further south, Newgale beach is good for surfing. Inland, Narberth has nice shops and cafes. Folly Farm and Oakwood are both within half an hour if you need a day out with kids.
The cottage has a small enclosed patio area out the back. It gets the evening sun. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and high chair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
