Ty Menyn is a converted barn on the edge of Mathry village. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You get the yard and garden to yourselves. The garden looks out over fields towards the Preseli hills.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. The stairs are oak and quite steep, just so you know.
The kitchen is open plan with the dining area. There's a slate floor, so it can feel a bit cool underfoot. The wood burner is in the living room downstairs. It works well. We leave a welcome pack with the basics for you.
There's a utility room and a cloakroom off the back. Useful for wet coats or surf gear. The yard is a good spot for bikes.
Mathry has a pub. It's a proper village local. The coast is about three miles away. Abermawr is a good shingle beach, or you can go to Porthgain for the harbour. The coastal path is accessible from there.
St Davids is about a 20-minute drive. You've got the cathedral there, and boat trips from St Justinian's. Good shops and places to eat, too. Fishguard is about 15 minutes the other way for ferries and a bigger supermarket.
The facilities are what you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, Sky TV, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
