The Bickney is in Llanon, right on the Pembrokeshire coast. It's a detached stone cottage, so no one attached to either side. You get the bit of garden that comes with it. There's a view from there across the fields to the sea, from St David's over to Strumble Head.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms upstairs, one's a twin, the other has a double and a single bed. One bathroom, but it's a shower room and it's on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The cottage is old, so there are beams and stone walls. There's an inglenook fireplace in one of the living rooms with the original range still in it, though you can't use it. The other sitting room has the TV. The kitchen is a galley style. It works.
Porthgain harbour is about a fifteen minute walk away. It's a nice spot. There's a good pub there that does food, and a couple of places to eat. Abereiddy is next door, which has a dark sand beach dogs can use all year and the Blue Lagoon.
You're right on the coast path for walking. For a wider look at the area, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site has maps and information. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here too.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, parking, and a cot if needed. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
