The Gatehouse is in Castlemorris. It's detached. It's in the grounds of the main house, Y Gwesty Bach, but it's private.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
You get the garden to yourself. It's enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. We accept one well-behaved pet. There's parking right outside.
The location is quiet. It's a hamlet. The closest village, Mathry, is two minutes drive. It has a pub that does food and a good cafe.
For beaches, Abermawr and Aberbach are the nearest. You can walk to them if you don't mind a bit of a trek, otherwise it's a very short drive. They're pebbly. For sand, Whitesands and Newgale are about fifteen minutes by car.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is less than two miles away for proper walks. From there you can get to St David's, which is Britain's smallest city. Porthgain harbour is up the coast, with its seafood restaurant.
If you need to plan days out, these sites are useful: Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, National Trust Pembrokeshire, and Visit Wales Pembrokeshire.
Facilities include all bedding and towels, a cot, a highchair, WiFi, and a TV. There's a BBQ you can use.
