West Barn is near Scleddau in Pembrokeshire. It's one of two converted barns on our land. It looks out over the Cleddau Valley towards the Preseli Hills. The fields here are a Site of Special Scientific Interest, so the wildlife is good.
The barn sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. We've tried to make it comfortable but it's not a hotel.
The main living area has a wood burner and big bi-fold doors that open onto a terrace. There's a barbecue out there. The view from the terrace is the main thing. You can sit with a drink and watch the light change over the valley.
The kitchen is large and has a dishwasher. Off the kitchen there's a smaller snug area with another sofa. The stairs inside are a standard flight, not a ladder.
You're about five minutes in the car from Fishguard. It has a few shops, cafes, and a harbour. The proper Pembrokeshire Coast Path is there too. Good beaches like Newport Sands are within fifteen minutes' drive.
St Davids is about twenty minutes away. It's a small city with the cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. The coast north of there, around Porthgain, is very good for walking and eating.
If you need a change from the coast, the Preseli Hills are right behind you for inland walks. For a rainy day, Oakwood theme park or Folly Farm are roughly half an hour's drive.
In terms of facilities, most things are here. Washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We allow up to two dogs. The garden is yours but it's not fully enclosed.
You can book the barn next door, East Barn, at the same time if you need space for more people.
