This is Hay Barn, one of four cottages at Dinas Country Club near Dinas Cross. The site is old. Parts of it were a monastery over six hundred years ago. This cottage was a barn. It's been done up but keeps some of the old bits, like the beams and stone.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The living area is open plan. The kitchen is up a few steps in a galley. There's a wood burner. You get a patio outside that looks into the woods.
The site is 22 acres with lawns and woods. There's a footpath that goes down to the coast. It takes about ten or fifteen minutes to walk to the beaches at Cwm yr Eglwys or Pwllgwaelod. The coastal path runs right past. It's good for walking. You're in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
On site, there's the old clubhouse. It's from the 13th century and has a log fire. It serves real ale, usually at weekends. There's also an outdoor heated pool, a kids' play area, and a field. Parking is on site.
Dinas Cross is a hamlet. There's a shop literally a minute's walk away. The pub is about twenty yards. They do food.
For a day out, Tenby is about a 45 minute drive. It's a walled town with a beach and harbour. You can get boat trips from there. Oakwood theme park, Heatherton, and Folly Farm are all within 45 minutes by car too.
The cottage has a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets.
