This is Hay Barn. It's part of a small group of cottages at Dinas Country Club, near Dinas Cross in Pembrokeshire. The place used to be a monastery a long time ago, and the cottages were old barns. They've been done up now.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main room is open plan, with the kitchen up a few steps. There's a wood burner. The ceilings are beamed and it's all stonework, so it feels like an old building. You can sit outside on the patio.
You're right in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A public footpath goes through the grounds down to the coast. It's about a ten or fifteen minute walk to the little beaches at Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod. Dinas Cross village is a short walk away, with a shop and a pub.
Because it's part of the country club, you can use the facilities. There's an outdoor heated swimming pool, a children's play area, and a clubhouse in a very old building that serves real ale at the weekends.
If you want to drive out, Tenby is a good day out. It's a proper seaside town with a harbour and a beach. For activities with kids, Folly Farm or Heatherton are within about 45 minutes. You can get boat trips from various points along the coast to look for dolphins.
Facilities in the cottage: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
