Major House is on the edge of Newport in Carmarthenshire. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms, with three bathrooms.
It's a 5 Star property, which means it's definitely on the nicer, more finished end of things. Everything is new and works as it should. The kitchen is large and has an island. Bifold doors open from the garden room onto a patio at the back. There's a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are split. Two doubles on one side, two twins on the other, which works well for two families. Each bedroom has its own shower room or bathroom nearby.
Newport itself is a small market town. You can walk to a few shops, a couple of cafes, and a pub. The beach, Newport Sands, is about a mile and a half away. It's good for paddling and water sports. For more dramatic coastline, you've got places like Ceibwr Bay and Cwm-yr-Eglwys within a short drive.
You're right on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The coastal path is easily accessible. For a day out, Cardigan is about eight miles away. Fishguard is roughly eleven miles.
The house allows up to two pets. There's on-site parking. Bedding and towels are included, and there's a cot and highchair if you need them.
